Profile
My name is Scott and I’m from New Bedford, Massachusetts. It’s a city about an hour south of Boston and only minutes away from the home where John Manjiro stayed years ago when rescued by an American fishing boat.
私の名前はスコットです。出身はマサチューセッツ州のニューベドフォードです。
ボストンから車で１時間ぐらい南で、ジョン・万次郎が泊まったところから１０分もかかりません。
I’m currently 29 years old and I’m married with 2 kids (1 boy and 1 girl) and a Yorkshire Terrier. I’ve been living in Kochi for almost 8 years and have a home in Nankoku City now.
現在２９歳、結婚して子供２人（男の子1人、女の子1人）がいます。一匹の犬も飼っています。高知に住むのはもうすぐ８年間になります。今南国市に住んでいます。
I love music and played guitar in a few different bands most of my life until coming to Japan. I was able to see a good amount of the US while touring and made lots of friends that opened up my eyes to a larger world than just New Bedford. After coming to Japan and starting a family I developed a passion for photography (no pun intended). I now shoot portraits and weddings semi professionally as well as teach English Conversation at my own “eikaiwa,” Mascot English School, and have even ventured into the world of YouTube.
音楽が大好きで、ギターを弾きます。日本に来るまで長い間いくつかのバンドやっていました。バンドのツアーでアメリカのいろんな場所に行って、たくさんの人と出会って、ニューベドフォード以外の世界を初めて見ました。日本に来て家族が出来てからフォトグラフィーに興味が始まった。すごくハマって、今はセミプロのポートレート・ウェディングのフォトグラファーの仕事と自分の「マスコット英会話」の仕事をしています。最近YouTubeも始めました。
Both for photography and together with my family, I love visiting all of the amazing places Kochi has to offer. I hope to share with you some of my favorite places through this blog, so please enjoy and be sure to come visit if you ever have the chance!
